Meet CFLBlogCon: Blogging for a Cause

This September, over 250 of Central Florida's most influential bloggers and all-around social media enthusiasts will be gathering at the Orlando Science Center for a day to share their web knowledge (while simultaneously Tweeting & Instagraming... how do they do it?!). Attendees will get the opportunity to learn social media tips from 26 local experts, including BRINK's own Editor In Chief, Kyle Menard.
Not only will the day be filled with lots of social media how-to, but CFLBlogCon will also strive to support all things local & environmentally-friendly: Parkesdale Farm Market will sponsor the conference's food and Doccaster will assure a paper-free event with downloadable conference materials available.
That's not even the best part-- which is pretty amazing, right? This year's CFLBlogCon has partnered with Rollins Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center to promote Blogging For Good, a program in which the conference attendees will use their social media power to benefit six different nonprofits: United Arts of Central Florida, Valencia Foundation, American Heart Association of Central Florida, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida and Orlando Science Center.
Although conference tickets have been sold out since early last year, we have a slight suspicion that there'll be plenty of online coverage... let the hashtags run wild!
